580 Line NTSC Camera Kit, use with Multi-View or XM-DVR Pro

This rugged camera is designed to work with our Multi-View Video Processor or directly with our XM-DVR Pro Video Recorder. It can withstand very harsh conditions. The single power and video cable has a molded-in strain relief for durability. No separate power cable is required which improves reliability and makes for a simple, clean installation. Both the camera and the 4 pin compact connector are waterproof. The cameras are assembled in a vacuum to prevent internal condensation. The internal components are encapsulated in silicone making them virtually immune to vibration.

Besides being durable, this camera also has superb image quality. It provides an ultra high resolution video signal that is optimized for vivid colors and rapidly changing light conditions. It has excellent performance in all light conditions from extreme brightness to 0.1 LUX darkness. If you're a videophile, you'll appreciate the specs listed below.

In addition to the bullet camera, this kit includes several different camera mounts, a very high quality omni-directional powered microphone (for use with the XM-DVR Pro Recorder only) and a 2 meter universal extension cable (can be used to extend the microphone or the camera). Additional Universal Extension Cables are available in a variety of lengths.

This bullet camera is ideal for all forms of motorsport. These cameras are also in use by the military, tactical law enforcement and some of the most extreme helmet-cam applications you could imagine.

Note: This NTSC camera is primarily for use in North America and Japan. For most other areas of the world, use our PAL Camera Kit.

Compatible Products:

• 1 to 4 of these camera kits can be added to our Multi-View Quattro-b Video Processor
• 1 or 2 of these camera kits can be added directly to our XM-DVR Pro Dual Channel Digital Video Recorder if not using the Multi-View Video Processor
• For the most secure camera mounting, you can add our new Aluminum Pro Collar Mount
• If you wish to use your existing camcorder or other device to record the output of one of these cameras, you will need to use our External Camera Sub-Kit. We don't recommend this option because video quality is often disappointing due to vibration problems, less reliable RCA cable connections and image degradation caused inferior recording devices.
