Fuel Level Sender for Fuel Cells, 0-90 Ohm
These electronic fuel level senders are designed especially for fuel cells. They have no moving parts and therefore are very rugged and dependable. Two lengths are available but they can be shortened for an exact fit (the Set-Up and Calibration Instructions are available in the Technical Info section of our website). The senders that we stock also have a secondary set of terminals that can be used to actuate a low level warning light. The gauge signal, as well as the low level trigger point, are both easy to calibrate to any desired level. These senders can be added to any existing 6 x 10 inch standard fill plate. However, in most cases, either the pickup or vent fitting will have to be moved to a different location on the fill plate to allow clearance for the sending unit. The sender will work with any GM compatible gauge (0-90 ohm range) including our Fuel Level Gauge, Part No. 2524-Gauge.
We also offer a Fuel Safe 12 Inch Fuel Level Sender 240-33 Ohm, Part No. 2567-001, which replaces the Auto Meter #3262 "universal" sending unit.
