As the weather changes, you may need to rejet your carburetor for maximum power and clean running. Top racing teams use an air density gauge to determine exactly when they need to change jets, and by how much.
This easy-to-use digital gauge displays current air denisty, your baseline air density (resettable at any time), and the difference between the two. You can also choose to display air density, barometric pressure, and air temperature. If the air density changes more than 5% from your baseline, a red LED will flash to alert you to the need to change jets.
To use, first tune your carburetor for the current conditions and set the baseline density by holding the button for 10 seconds. The next time you run, check the current air density against your baseline. While your competition is busy reading plugs and pipes (or still wondering why their cars are popping and stumbling), you'll already be installing the right jets.
The 1" x 2.5" LCD readout displays density from 70% to 130%. Temperature can be set to read in F or C and pressure in in-Hg, mm-Hg, or hPa. Auto shut-off can be set for up to 30 minutes. Gauge measures 4" x 1.75" x 1" thick. Runs on a single CR2032 lithium battery (included). Includes protective carrying case.
