Inline Temp Gauge Adapter for 1.19" (30mm) Hose, w/ 3/8 BSP

Click for a larger picture of Inline Temp Gauge Adapter for 1.19" (30mm) Hose, w/ 3/8 BSP

This machined aluminum adapter fitting has a 3/8 BSP female port for connecting the temperature sensor bulb from our Racetech mechanical gauges (or for any other application that requires a 3/8 BSP port). The beaded nipple at each end is sized to fit a 1 3/16" silicone coolant hose. The 30mm size will also fit both 28mm (1 1/8") and 32mm (1 1/4") hose sizes.

Note: Make sure that the end of the temperature sensing bulb does not touch the opposite side of the adapter! The maximum allowable sensor bulb length is 1 1/8" (measured from the flat port face). It may be necessary to mill or drill a relief into the fitting opposite of the tapped hole if your sensing bulb is longer.

Doesn't work for 1.25" hose

Comments about Inline Temp Gauge Adapter for 1.19" (30mm) Hose, w/ 3/8 BSP:

Doesn't work for 1.25" hose as advertised. Purchased the 1.25" adapter instead. Pegasus has a very easy return policy and had no trouble with the refund.

Comments about Inline Temp Gauge Adapter for 1.19" (30mm) Hose, w/ 3/8 BSP:

We have been correcting the sensor locations on our hillclimb car project and were not thrilled with the choice of temperature sender locations available to us. This product puts the sensor right where we want it; at the hottest spot before the water enters the radiator. Beautiful machine work, it is perfect!
