COOL SHIRT water cooling systems circulate ice water around the driver to lower and stabilize core body temperatures. This compact and economical system can provide up to 2 hours of cooling from a single block of ice.
The 10 quart round cooler measures 9" diameter x 13" high, with a small enough footprint to fit in a 2-seat sports racer.* The internal 2 amp pump is designed to be wired to a 12 volt power supply.
Note: Because of the wide variety of styles and sizes available, the water-cooled shirt is sold separately. Complete the system by adding the Cool Shirt of your choice. Depending on your installation, you may also need the Cool Shirt Insulated Hose Kit (Part No. CS475-12, sold separately) between your shirt and the cooler. The short "pigtail" hoses attached to the cooler are approximately 6 inches long.
Upgrade your system by adding a Temperature Control Switch (Part No. CS450).
* This cooler will mount behind the left front wheel of the SCCA Spec Racer Ford if the catch bottle is relocated to the other side of the mounting bracket. Spec Racers will need to add the hose kit to reach from the cooler to the shirt.
