This analog pressure sensor is suitable for measuring absolute pressure in the airbox from -1 to +1 psi (-69 mBAR to +69 mBAR)*. It is compatible with all AiM MyChron, MXL, and EVO3 / EVO4 automotive applications. Two sensor ports allow this unit to compare the pressure in the airbox to the ambient air pressure. Simply connect one port to the airbox (before the throttle plate) and vent the other port to the atmosphere.
This sensor has the 719 (four-pin plastic push-on type) connector. Use a My Chron 719-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-211) to connect to an AiM MXL Pista, MXL Pro, or MyChron3 Auto dash (except XG-Log). The XG-Log, EVO3, and EVO4 require a 712-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-210) for connection.
* Note: This sensor is designed to measure the small amount of pressure or vacuum in the airbox of normally-aspirated vehicles. It is not designed to be connected to manifold vacuum (between the throttle plate and the engine). It is also not suitable for measuring boost pressures in forced-induction vehicles. Turbo or supercharged vehicles should use the AiM 0-50 psi Boost Pressure Sensor (Part No. MC-266) to measure intake air pressure up to 50 psi.
