This kit is ideal for anyone who does not have a permanent number. You can quickly and easily lay out numbers similar to a digital clock or calculator display using the pre-cut self-adhesive vinyl segments. Each 12" to 14" high digit will use between 2 and 7 segments ("1" uses 2 segments; "8" uses 7 segments). You can make the numbers smaller by slightly overlapping the segments or by trimming their length before installation. The segments are a full 2 inches wide. This makes the finished numbers highly visible and easy to read. Each kit contains 100 segments, enough for number "888" on all four sides of the car (and you'll still have 16 segments to spare).
Note: The 18" diameter number circle shown in the photo is not included. An 18" circle will work with a two-digit number as long as one digit is "1". A 24" circle is a better fit for a 2 digit number that does not include a "1". Self-Adhesive White Number Circles are sold separately.
Note: Some racing organizations frown upon 'segmented digital display' style numbers. If in doubt, check with your local tech inspector or Timing and Scoring chief.
