This reservoir is designed for use with master cylinders that do not have an integral tank. The 7/16-20 threaded outlet fitting can be mounted directly on a remote master cylinder with matching thread (such as our Part No. 3502*) or connected remotely with a 4AN hose.
The reservoir body can be removed from the outlet fitting for mounting on a master cylinder. Simply remove the internal nut, push the fitting out, and screw it into the master cylinder inlet port. The reservoir offset can be "clocked" to any of 12 different positions to suit your installation. The offset allows master cylinder spacing as tight as 2 1/4", despite the 2.3" body OD and the large 3" diameter cap.
The translucent plastic body allows easy fluid level inspection. Capacity is approximately 5 ounces. The 3.25" tank height (not including the fitting) provides a tall column of fluid to reduce the risk of slosh. Includes 3" OD cap with 60mm threads. We also offer the Replacement Cap separately (Part No. 3569-003).
Note: These reservoirs no longer include a moisture barrier diaphragm.
* Part No. 3502 (and some clones) has a seat for an inverted flare in the inlet port. This requires minor modification of the 7/16-20 fitting on this reservoir and the addition of a crush washer.
