Brand: Aeromotive Fuel Systems
An accurate gauge is critical when setting your fuel pressure regulator. The trouble is that conventional liquid-filled gauges are affected by engine heat, which can cause them to change readings drastically as the engine warms up. This compact pressure gauge from Aeromotive is designed with a special pressure-compensating valve to keep the gauge accurate, regardless of temperature.
The 1.5 inch diameter gauge reads from 0 to 15 psi to cover most carbureted applications. The 1/8 NPT male fitting on the back is designed to be mounted directly in the engine compartment to monitor the operation of the fuel pump and regulator. Most Aeromotive pressure regulators have an extra 1/8 NPT port specifically to accept a gauge like this one. The gauge can also be mounted in-line using an adapter (see table below). Face style may vary.
Note: Liquid-filled gauges are partially filled with liquid, and an air space is provided for expansion and contraction. A visible air bubble is normal. In order for the pin valve to operate properly, the gauge must be mounted with the valve (located above the 7.5 psi mark) pointing upwards.
