The 1759 TT Turbo Testing Kit includes 4 sets of stepped test plugs to cover hose sizes from 35mm to 90mm (1 3/8" to 3 1/2") ID. Simply insert a plug into the flex hose at either end of the component to be tested, and pressurize with air up to 1 bar (14.5 psi). An over-pressure relief valve is included for safety.
Hose sizes covered:
35mm, 40mm, 45mm (1 3/8", 1 5/8", 1 3/4") ID
50mm, 55mm, 60mm (2", 2 1/4", 2 3/8") ID
65mm, 70mm, 75mm (2 1/2", 2 3/4", 3" ID)
80mm, 85mm, 90mm (3 3/8", 3 1/4", 3 1/2" ID)
Each pair of plugs has one plug with a standard Schrader (tire) valve and one plug with a quick-disconnect air fitting to accept the relief valve. The relief valve assembly also has a Schrader valve so you can pressurize from either plug. Everything comes packed in a padded black plastic case.
This kit is useful on intake systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems. With the addition of a couple of our silicone reducer hoses, you could even use it to test the integrity of welds on a tube-frame chassis or a rollcage!
