The 1719BMD8 files from Beta Tools are designed to remove material quickly, with minimal clogging. The double-cut style has diagonal ridges cut in two directions, leaving diamond-shaped teeth. The "bastard cut" has coarser teeth than the "second cut" (and much coarser teeth than a "smooth" file). Each file includes its own molded plastic handle. All are 12 1/4" long including the handle. Sold individually.

This S5 set includes one Flat, one Square, one Triangular, one Half-round, and one Round file.

Deciphering the Beta Tools Hand File Numbering System:
1719BM = File with handle (1718 series does not include handles)
D = Bastard Cut (A = Second Cut)
8 = 8 Inch nominal length
