Pin punches are designed to drive a pin from a round hole. The shank is straight, with a consistent diameter to avoid enlarging the hole.

The Beta Tools 31BA series drift punches are constructed of non-sparking copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) for safe use in potenially explosive environments. The shank is left short to provide good resistance against bending in use.

This Cu-Be punch has an 8mm diameter straight shank with a round-section handle portion. 120mm overall length. Sold individually.

Note: Copper-beryllium tools are not safe for use in contact with acetylene. Acetylene can react with the copper to form copper acetylide, a powerful and very dangerous explosive.
