The 1060 Series self-locking pliers from Beta Tools have U-shaped upper and lower jaws that can grip two objects at once. The gap between the forks makes these pliers ideal for tack welding. The "underbite" design positions the tips of the upper jaws against the pads of the lower jaws (best for wide, flat objects). A knurled thubscrew on one handle adjusts the jaw opening, and a lever on the other handle releases the jaws when squeezed. The jaws and handles have a chrome-plated finish. The adjuster and release lever both have a tough black oxide finish.
