These specialty scissors from Beta Tools are designed to meet the needs of telephone system installers.
The straight blades measure 35mm (1 1/4") long (L1), with a slight notch at the base to help hold 4-conductor cable in place for easy cutting. The extended handles have a Beta orange vinyl coating for grip and comfort. The short blade / long handle combinations provides just the right amount of leverage.
Unlike cheaper scissors, the handles are not plastic moldings that will break off of the body with use. Each scissor half is one solid piece of metal that extends all the way from the blade tip to the very end of the handle ring. These are scissors for professional use, not for scrapbooking!
