The 1467 Brake Fluid Extractor from Beta Tools lets you use the power of your air compressor to pull old brake fluid (and air) out of your brake system hydraulics.
The kit includes a refillable fluid tank and an air-powered extractor with a translucent feed hose. Start by filling the fluid tank with fresh brake fluid, clamp the tank to your brake fluid reservoir, and open the petcock to start the feed drip. Next, open the bleed screw on your caliper and attach the extractor hose to the open bleeder. Finally, connect a compressed air souce (70 to 170 psi) to draw fluid out of the caliper. In a matter of minutes, the old fluid is purged and replaced with fresh.
The extractor has a 1.5 liter (1.6 quart) capacity so you won't have to stop to empty the tank in the middle of a job. Weighs 1.5kg (3.3 lb) empty. Brake fluid not included.
