Don't take a chance on damaging an expensive alternator trying to remove or install a clutch-type pulley (OAP or OAD) with an impact gun! Do the job right by using the proper tools. The 1489 Series from Beta Tools are designed specifically to fit the drive types used on modern free-spin alternator pulleys.

This tool has one 28mm male hex end to fit the pulley shaft. The 12mm bore allows you to insert another tool (sold separately) through this tool to turn the rotor shaft on OAD pulleys. The other end has a 15mm outer hex that lets you use a 15mm wrench (such as the Beta 188/15 Straight 15mm Alternator Pulley Tool Wrench, sold separately) to hold or turn the pulley shaft.
