The 1694/L Series measuring tapes from Beta Tools feature an impact-resistant plastic case with a flexible PVC-coated fiberglass tape. The tape is not spring-loaded, so it will not snap back on you. You retract the tape manually by turning the folding crank on the side of the case. The end of the tape has a loop which you can hook over a nail or ground spike to anchor. This design is ideal for measuring long distances for building layout and landscaping. Black and Beta orange case with yellow tape.

This 10-meter tape has markings in meters, centimeters, and millimeters (no SAE units). 13mm wide tape, Precision Class II. Sold individually.
