Brand: Beta Tools
The 1694B/L Series measuring tapes from Beta Tools feature an open metal case with a comfortable pistol-grip handle. The flexible steel tape is not spring-loaded, so it will not snap back on you. You retract the tape manually by turning the crank on the side of the case. The end of the tape has a loop which you can hook over a nail or ground spike to anchor. This design is ideal for measuring very long distances for building layout, landscaping, and even accident reconstruction. Black and Beta orange case with yellow tape.
This 50-meter tape has markings in meters, centimeters, and millimeters (no SAE units). 12.5mm wide tape, Precision Class II. Note that this is currently the only size available in the 1694B/L Series. Sold individually.
