The 1727BM model adjustable close-quarters hacksaw from Beta Tools is ideal for carrying in a crowded toolbox for occasional use. The handle is shaped and positioned more like a shop knife than a hacksaw for precise control. The blade can be adjusted to extend out of the frame just a little or a lot to suit the material being cut. Despite its compact size, it accepts any standard 12" (300mm) hacksaw blade.

Grey metal frame and Beta Orange handle with black Bi-Material cushioning. Includes one high-speed steel "Bimetal" blade (Beta No. 1728BM). Measures just 315mm (12 7/16") long overall including blade. Sold individually.

Note: The micro frame spans only partway down the blade. If you cut with the free end of the blade, you must work carefully to avoid bending the unsupported end of the blade.
