The 1728CO hacksaw blade from Beta Tools will fit any standard hacksaw designed for standard 12" (300mm) blades. The cobalt steel alloy construction is appropriate for use on tough metals such as stainless steel and heat-treated steel alloys. The medium-fine blade has 24 teeth per inch.* The Beta Orange color identifies it as a special blade (the standard Beta HSS blade 1728BM is blued steel). Sold individually.
Remember to lubricate the blade using a suitable cutting oil when cutting metal. Dry cutting can overheat and dull the teeth.
* 24 teeth per inch is good for cutting relatively thin-wall tubing. It is coarser than what we recommend for cutting braided stainless hose (32 teeth per inch).
