The Arai PED (Performance Enhancing Device) kit consists of two add-on spoilers for improved aerodynamic stability at high speeds in open-cockpit cars. Both spoilers are designed to fit the Arai GP-6 series, including the GP-6RC, GP-6, and GP-6S (this is the same kit included with the GP-6RC and GP-6 PED). They can also be fitted to the GP-5W as well as the SK-6 karting helmet.
The front chin spoiler mounts just below the vents on the chin bar to provide downforce on the front of the helmet. The rear spoiler mounts at the top rear of the helmet shell to reduce lift and buffeting. You can use either one separately or both together depending on your needs.
Clear plastic lets your custom paint show through, but the plastic can also be painted to blend in with your helmet. Double-sided tape is pre-applied for easy installation. One kit includes one front spoiler and one rear spoiler (enough for one helmet).
