When snap ring pliers just won't cut it, the 1558 from Beta Tools gets the job done, with force to spare! Instead of squeezing handles to work the snap ring, the jaws on the 1558 are opened and closed using a screw-feed mechanism. A 3/8" square drive socket on the screw feed lets you apply just as much force as needed. And since the jaws don't require you to apply constant force to keep the snap ring under tension, you can focus on the true job at hand.

The 1558 can be used on internal and external snap rings measuring 5.5mm to 77mm (7/32" to 3") diameter. The complete 1558/C4 kit includes 3 sets of interchangeable tips (2.5mm, 3.0mm, and 3.5mm) to suit most snap ring sizes. Everything comes packed in a blow-molded organizer case measuring 330mm x 220mm x 50mm (13" x 8 11/16" x 2"). Black finish tool; black case with Beta Orange logos.
