Pipercross filters use a deep 3-stage foam to filter the incoming air, trapping and holding more dust than traditional paper filters for less frequent cleaning.
These sock-type filters are designed to slip over your intake trumpet air horns (up to 70mm / 2.75" bell OD) for quick and inexpensive yet free-flowing filtration. They do not have any internal support or rigid base; they are designed to be secured with zip ties (included). The 100mm (4") internal height can be trimmed down for tight installations -- just be sure to leave enough length for the zip ties to grab. Sold in pairs (enough for 2 air horns).
Although these socks are intended to be used as an inexpensive and more compact alternative to an airbox, you can use them inside an airbox as well. Simply install the airbox base, slip these filters over your velocity stacks as you normally would, then assemble your airbox as usual.
