Our silicone hose is built for endurance and performance in custom turbo and intake plumbing applications. Each hose is hand-crafted from multiple layers of silicone rubber with polyester reinforcing fabric between the layers. The silicone rubber remains flexible and tough from -50° C to +180° C (-76° F to 356° F).
One end of this reducer has a 3" ID; the other end has a 3.75" ID to fit the GM throttle body on LS-series engines. The outside is jet Black with a smooth, shiny "wipe-down" finish. Overall length 100mm (3.94") with a very short transition. The 4-ply reinforcement results in a working pressure rating in excess of 14 psi and a 5mm wall thickness. Use our Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-4.50 and 3613-3.75) to clamp the hose over your tubing.
Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will handle an air-fuel mixture and will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to liquid petroleum.
