If your oxygen sensor exceeds 900°F, it will get damaged. This special heat-sink extender moves your O2 sensor out of the exhaust pipe while shedding excess heat!
Female M18x1.5mm threads at one end accept any standard O2 sensor (sold separately). Male M18x1.5mm threads at the other end thread into your sensor bung. No cutting or welding required! Just unscrew your sensor, screw in the HBX-1 extender, and screw your sensor into the extender. A copper washer is included to seal the extender to the bung. A large inlet hole and small outlet hole help to direct exhaust gases across the sensor face.
