Braille Green-Lite Series batteries offer the power and light weight of race-spec Braille Lithium-Ion batteries in an OEM-size case for easy weight loss!
The 12 volt (nominal) G20 battery is the same size as a standard Group 20L motorcycle battery (7.1" L x 2.98" W x 6.25" H, positive terminal on the right), but it packs an incredible 697 pulse cranking amps and weighs just 4.5 pounds. The 13.8v actual voltage provides even more starting power for high-compression 4- and 6-cylinder racing engines. The LAh rating of 36 gives it cranking performance similar to a 36 Ah lead-acid battery. The G20 carries a true 12 Amp-hour rating, but with much more consistent voltage under load than any 12 Ah lead-acid battery. All of this makes the G20 an ideal upgrade for the PC680.
The G20 is one of the largest batteries in the Green-Lite series. It is ideal for modified 4- and 6-cylinder cars with low to moderate electrical demands (perfect for Import Tuners, 4- or 6-cylinder racecars with alternators, or carbureted small formula cars. (Not recommended for daily-driven vehicles with high electrical demands like aftermarket stereo equipment or auxiliary lighting.) Unlike most competitors, Braille lithium batteries can be used in racecars with total-loss electrical systems. Braille batteries are also compatible with all automotive charging systems. The unique convertible terminals accept either 1/4" ring terminals or standard SAE clamp-on terminals. Braille batteries are made in the USA.
Note 1: Never use a trickle charger or standard lead-acid battery charger on a lithium-ion battery. These batteries have a very low self-discharge rate in storage; however, a charger should be used for long-term storage of vehicles with a parasitic drain (computer memory, alarm, etc).
Note 2: DOT regulations will only allow us to ship lithium-ion batteries via UPS Ground service. UN regulations will NOT allow us to ship lithium batteries outside of the 48 contiguous states. USPS will not accept lithium batteries for transport by mail.
|Note: (LI) = Lithium Battery. This lithium battery can't be shipped by air. We can only ship this battery to addresses in the continental USA or to areas of Canada that don't require aircraft for delivery.|
