Our heater hose is constructed of two layers of silicone rubber with a single ply of polyester reinforcing fabric between. The resulting hose meets or exceeds SAE J20R4 Class A standards. This flexible hose is non-molded, so it is easy to route in just about any shape required. The silicone rubber is fully compatible with plain water, common automotive coolants, and most coolant additives.

This 5/16" (8mm) ID size has a 0.17" (4.2mm) wall thickness and a 0.65" (16.4mm) OD. The 305 psi (2.1 Mpa) burst pressure rating exceeds the SAE requirement of 249 psi (1.72 Mpa). We recommend a maximum working pressure of 61 psi (0.42 Mpa). Temperature rating -46°C to +180°C (-70°F to +356°F). Red inner lining layer with a blue outer layer. Sold by the running foot.
