This is the front bearing for the auxiliary shaft (jackshaft) on the Ford 2.0L SOHC "Pinto" engine. Jackshaft driven oil pumps can contribute to the load on this bearing and cause wear, which can eventually lead to a leaking oil seal and even erratic ignition timing.
