This 1st/Reverse hub is installed on the pinion shaft of Hewland or Webster Mk8 or Mk9 gearboxes. Replaces Hewland part number HC85-226 in 5-speed gearboxes. Add our special 4-Speed Reverse Hub Spacer to convert this hub to a standard 4-Speed 1st/Reverse hub for use with Mk 9 gears (with spacer, replaces Hewland part number HC84-226).

The very coarse inner splines (6 spline count) distinguish this hub from the 1st/Reverse Hub for 5 Speed Mk 4, 6 and Webster Gearboxes (Part No. 1410-A42-4), which has much finer inner splines.
