The Pertronix Flame-Thrower digital rev limiter is designed for use with any 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engine using single-coil points, OEM electronic (GM HEI, Ford, Chrysler) or aftermarket inductive type ignition systems including the Ignitor and Ignitor II points replacement systems. (Not compatible with CD ignition systems.)

• Digital control provides much greater accuracy (+/-0.01%) than analog systems
• Rotary switches permit easy setting of the rev limit while eliminating the need for chips and jumpers
• Resolution of 100 RPM allows more accurate rev control
• Combination of random and sequential spark stealing reduces plug fouling and detonation from unburned fuel
• Rev limiting begins within one spark of the moment when the rev limit is exceeded for very fast response time
• One digital and two analog filters prevent false triggering from coil voltage noise
• Tachometer output is compatible with most modern tachometers
• Reverse voltage protection and 4-wire hookup make installation easy
