Brand: Setrab Oil Coolers
Setrab oil coolers have been popular in all levels of racing since the 1970s. The brazed aluminum construction provides the maximum cooling capacity in the smallest possible space, with minimal pressure drop. Coolers are pressure tested to 10 bar (145 psi) to ensure quality. The black epoxy finish protects against corrosion and looks great. The unique convertible inlet fittings (sold separately) allow you to change your plumbing without having to replace the cooler.
Setrab Pro Line Series 1 coolers measure 8 1/4" long (6 7/16" not including mounting tabs) x 1 7/8" thick. The female M22x1.5 ports are 4.8" center-to-center. This 19 row size measures 5 3/4" tall (not including the hex on the port fittings). This size is recommended for use as a differential/gearbox cooler, power steering fluid cooler, or an engine oil cooler on small (up to 150 hp) street engines. Expect approximately 2 to 2.5 psi pressure drop when using it as an engine oil cooler.
Note: All oil coolers are relatively fragile. Care must be taken to avoid stressing the fittings when tightening connections (always use a backup wrench on the cooler fitting). The cooler should be mounted in a manner that will minimize vibration.
A great way to secure your cooler is with the Setrab Series 1 Mounting Bracket Kit, Part No. SET-23-1002 (sold separately).
