No matter how far you open the jaws, the adjustment will not release until you press the button again.

A textured PVC coating gives you a secure grip on the handles. Semi-rounded, serrated jaws allow the pliers to grip anything from pipe to sheet metal to hex nuts. 11 13/16" (300mm) overall length, 0 to 2" (0-50mm) jaw opening range. This 1047/300 model is the largest in the 1047 Series.
