An SPH05 female with a 4AN fitting can be mated to an SPH05 male with a 6AN fitting (and vice versa).

Note: "Female" refers to the internal valve mechanism, not to the retention sleeve. The Female SPH coupling has the female valve. The female coupling fits inside the retention sleeve on the male coupling.
