The accelerator pump jet is installed under a plug between the float bowl and the intake manifold on the DCOE series and 45 MCHH carburetors. Part of this jet sticks out into the carburetor throat and sprays extra fuel when the throttle is opened, enriching the mixture for acceleration. Two required per carburetor (one for MCHH). Sold individually.
As a general rule of thumb, use the smallest jet that stops the engine from stumbling or popping when you open the throttle. A jet that is too large will cause a "wet" stumble, sometimes accompanied by a backfire or sooty exhaust. If your application is between sizes, select the larger size and use the Accelerator Pump Discharge Valve (Part No. 79701) to bleed off part of the pump volume, fine-tuning the jet output.
These jets fit the Weber DCOE series and 45 MCHH only. They do not fit any other brand or model.
