These anodized aluminum adapters make it easy to connect your male AN fitting to a metric female port. Each adapter has a female nut with an 10AN (7/8-14 UNF threads, 37° flare) at one end, and a male M18 (18x1.50mm) fitting at the other. The metric end has no flare at the end, so a crush washer is provided for sealing at the port face. Perfect for the inlet side of the Bosch 044 fuel pump!
The two-piece design allows the female AN nut to turn independently of the rest of the fitting to avoid flare damage. This also lets you tighten the metric fitting without spinning your male AN fitting.* AN-style fitting conforms to SAE/JIC specifications. Sold individually.
* Note: To turn the metric side, you must first loosen the AN side enough to prevent the sealing flares from contacting each other. Failure to do so will damage the sealing surfaces of this adapter and your AN fitting.
