AN316 Thin Jam Nut (Non-Locking Check Nut)

These plated steel nuts are Military Specification versions of non-locking jam nuts. Jam nuts are typically used to lock in adjustments where a male threaded part screws only partway into a female threaded part (rod ends, grub screws, bulkhead fittings, etc). These jam nuts are thinner than the AN315 specification* for use in tighter installations. Sold individually.

* Except Part No. AN316-3-R and -L. The AN316 standard does not include the 10-32 size, so this size conforms to the thicker AN315 standard.
