Motul 8100 X-clean is a 100% synthetic engine oil formulated to satisfy API SN and ACEA C3 standards. The API SN standard requires superior cleanliness and protection against oxidation, wear, and deposits compared to the previous SM standard. The ACEA C3 standard requires significant oil film resistance and emissions cleanliness in powerful engines. By meeting or exceeding both of those standards, Motul 8100 X-clean 5W-40 also carries approvals from BMW (LL-04), Ford (WSS M2C 917A), Mercedes-Benz (229.51), Porsche (A40*), Renault (RN0700 and RN0710), and VW (502 00 - 505 00 - 505 01).
X-cess 5W-40 also meets the performance requirements of FIAT 9.55535-S2.
