Motylgear from Motul is a synthetic-based transmission and differential lubricant. The balanced slipperiness makes it suitable for synchro transmissions and clutch-type LSD as well as dog-ring gearboxes and open differentials. It is rated as a GL-4 / GL-5 gear lube, which allows its use with both hypoid and straight-cut gears (perfect for transaxles). Motylgear is compatible with all seal materials and is non-corrosive to bronze parts (shift forks, synchros, etc). The 75W80 viscosity is especially recommended for hard-shifting Peugeot, Citroen, and Renault gearboxes.
Motylgear 75W80 meets the standards of API GL-4, API GL-5, and MIL-L-2015D.
