Motul TWIN is a high-performance, 100% synthetic oil designed specifically for twin-cylinder motorcycles. It can be used in all twins, from any manufacturer or country. It can withstand the high temperatures and stresses in air-cooled engines, but it is equally at home in water-cooled engines. The high levels of ZDDP make it ideal for pushrod vee engines, but it is also compatible with inline twins running O2 sensors and catalytic converters. Motul TWIN meets JASO MA2 specifications for proper grip levels with wet clutches to prevent slippage, chatter, and premature wear. But it is also perfect for dry clutch engines, whether the transmission is integrated or separate.
The Triple-synthetic formula (Ester, PAO, and GRP3 base stocks) clings to ferrous engine parts for extra protection at start-up. Satisfies API service level SL (as well as SJ/SH/SG). Motul TWIN is fully compatible with synthetic and mineral oils. That means you can top up with whatever is available when you're on the road, but Motul recommends changing the mixed oil as soon as possible to restore performance.
