Fire-resistant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame retardant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies. Even if your racing organization doesn't require it, a protective base layer provides one more layer of safety that cotton or synthetic skivvies can't.

The OMP Tecnica Evo underwear line was designed with input from pro racers. They are made of a very smooth single layer soft knit blend of flame-retardant aramid fibers. These boxer-briefs feature a wide elastic waist and an athletic fit to prevent bunching. No front fly opening to compromise safety. Black with a grey OMP logo on the waistband. FIA 8856-2018 homologated.

Note: These shorts have a slim, athletic cut with increased elasticity to avoid bunching and bagginess. They are designed to be a tight stretch fit.
