This direct-acting throwout bearing eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The low profile (1.82" - 1.87" setup height*) makes it small enough to be adapted to many different installations. Most applications will require fabrication of an adapter plate.
The radius-faced bearing has a 44mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 5/8" diameter diaphragm spring hole. This includes most QuarterMaster 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches (except 7.25" LGC) and Tilton OT-II (7.25") Racing Clutches. Maximum travel is 0.70 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately).

* A 0.05" shim under the bearing can be removed to change the height from 1.87" (as supplied) to 1.82" if needed.
