The Beta Tools C39MD was designed specifically for racing mechanics! It is a professional-grade pit cart that is equally at home in the shop.
This mega-cabinet is really two rolling tool chests in one. Seven drawers on the left side are complemented by two extra-deep drawers on the right side. The inch-thick 20" x 60" plywood worktop extends slightly past the 19 5/8" x 59" cabinet footprint. Everything rolls easily on 5" diameter casters (2 fixed and 2 swivel with brakes). When you get to your pit stall, metal "skirts" flip down to cover the casters for a sleek look -- and to prevent small parts from rolling away under the cabinet!
Each drawer measures a full-size 23 1/8" x 14 1/2" to hold a huge amount of tools. Six of the left-side drawers measure 2 3/4" deep, with one 9 7/16" deep. The top right-side drawer measures 10 5/8" deep, and the bottom right drawer measures a whopping 15" deep! All nine drawers ride on ball-bearing slides and include a protective foam liner. The innovative drawer latch mechanism is easy to operate, even with gloves on and hands full. Simply lift the full-length drawer handle slightly to open -- no separate motion or unnatural action required. The latch automatically closes when you close the drawer. All drawers lock with a single keyed lock in the center.
Strategic use of aluminum panels keeps the weight of the cabinet under 275 pounds empty, but it can hold over 2600 pounds*! Beta orange with aluminum-finish drawer handles, woodgrain worktop, and dark grey Beta logos. 38 9/16" high. Tools sold separately.
