This special machined aluminum Tee fitting has a male 1/8 BSPT (tapered thread) fitting at one end, a female 1/8 BSPT port at the other, and a female 1/8 NPT port in the side. It makes it easy to connect an aftermarket oil pressure gauge or warning light to the original 1/8 BSPT oil pressure port on certain Japanese engines (including Mazda Miata).
Simply thread the male BSPT end into the original port, then install the original sender into the female BSPT end. You can install your aftermarket sender in the female NPT port on the side, or for best results, use a 3AN hose and adapters (sold separately) to mount your aftermarket sender remotely.
