Hand Held Hose Cutting Shears

Cut Aeroquip StartLite aramid braided racing hose and textile reinforced high temperature hose up to -12 size quickly and cleanly with this heavy-duty tool!

The conventional method for cutting braided hose at home was to use a fine-tooth hacksaw, but that requires time, effort, and a lot of cleaning up afterwards. This handheld tool will cut Aeroquip StartLite aramid braided racing hose and textile reinforced high temperature hose with a single stroke. The hardened steel jaws are C-shaped to center the hose before slicing through the braid and the liner. Extra-long handles provide plenty of leverage.

Note: A few strands may require additional trimming. Use a side cutter or nipper to cut them if needed. These shears will only work on StartLite aramid braid or textile reinforced high temperature hose. Will not cut stainless steel braided racing hose, 811 PTFE lined stainless steel braided racing hose, 910 PTFE Lined aramid braided lightweight racing hose, stainless steel braided PTFE brake & clutch hose.
