These sturdy snap ring pliers from Beta Tools are designed to spread external snap rings (circlips) from 10mm to 25mm (3/8" to 1") ID. Most cheaper pliers have much thinner jaws and handles, more like stamped sheet metal than a proper tool. Beta 1038 Series snap ring pliers have strong, forged construction so they will not fold up in use!

The sturdy jaws taper down to 0.05" (1.3mm) diameter pins. The jaws are angled to work with the plier handles perpendicular to the shaft. The PVC-coated handles are sprung to close the jaws when you let go. 5 1/4" overall length with 1/2" long jaws. Black oxide finish with Beta orange handles.
