These sturdy snap ring pliers from Beta Tools are designed to spread external snap rings (circlips) from 10mm to 25mm (3/8" to 1") ID. Most cheaper pliers have much thinner jaws and handles, more like stamped sheet metal than a proper tool. These Beta 1037 Series snap ring pliers have strong, forged construction so they will not fold up in use!

The thick jaws taper down to 0.05" (1.3mm) diameter pins. The jaws are bent to work with the plier handles at a 45 degree angle to the shaft. The PVC-coated handles are sprung to close the jaws when you let go. 5 1/2" overall length. Black oxide finish with Beta orange handles.
