Antigravity batteries use the latest in lightweight Lithium-Ion (LiFePO4) technology to pack huge power into the smallest possible size.
This 16-Cell "small case" 12 volt battery measures 4 5/8" L x 3 1/4" W x 5 1/4" H. It is smaller than most OEM batteries, but it offers a huge 480 cranking amps and weighs just 3.5 pounds. (We offer 2 lead-acid batteries that are close to this size, but they each deliver about 230 CA and weigh 11 pounds.) It has a similar cranking capacity to a 16Ah lead-acid battery* (our equivalent lead-acid batteries have 12Ah capacity and therefore can't crank as long).
This size is perfect for everyday use in large motorcycles (up to 1600cc modified and 96 CID V-Twins), or race use in motorcycles up to 2000cc. It can even power racecars as large as 3.5 liters (with alternators). It also makes an excellent and easy-to-carry jumper battery for cars without alternators.
Female M6 terminals offer excellent durability. For direct bolt-in automotive applications, we offer an M6 Female to Brass Post Battery Terminal Adapter Kit (Part No. 4156-102, sold separately).
* Pb-Ah Equivalent. This is not to be confused with Amp-hour capacity. Lead-acid batteries deliver a low-amperage current over a long period of time (for example, a 12Ah lead-acid battery can theoretically deliver 12 Amps for an hour). LiFePO4 batteries deliver a brief high-amperage current and then recover quickly (as in starting an engine). This battery is not designed to deliver a sustained current, and it should never be used in a total-loss electrical system. Never use a trickle charger or standard lead-acid battery charger on a LiFePO4 battery.
