This 5" in-dash tachometer from Auto Meter reads to 11,000 RPM with bold white numbers and an orange needle against a black background for great visibility. The Spek-Pro stepper motor drive results in a rock-steady needle with no bouncing or overshooting.

An electronic "tell-tale" memory instantly recalls peak RPM with the touch of a button. Three-color LEDs in the dial face can be programmed to show you when you are nearing, at, or above the pit road speed limit. The backlighting can be set to any of 7 different colors.

Works with virtually any 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12-cylinder engine with distributor ignition or a pulsed tach output signal. Coil-on-plug ignition systems without a pulsed RPM signal may require the Auto Meter Distributorless Ignition RPM Signal Adapter, Part No. AM9117 (sold separately). Requires a fused 12 Volt DC power source.
