For high-volume production work, nothing beats the speed and convenience of an air ratchet. Use it as a ratchet handle to break a fastener loose, then hit the lever to zip the fastener the rest of the way off. Or reverse for installation: Zip the fastener down with the speed of an air tool, then use it as a conventional ratchet to deliver final torque.
The 1921M2 from Beta Tools was designed for the daily demands of professional use. The compact 7.8" long body is protected by an ergonomic, vibration-absorbing rubber sleeve for operator comfort. The ratchet head has a rubber hood to protect it against accidental drops. Speed is easily adjusted down from 200 rpm (free speed) by a low-profile but easy-to-grip knob recessed into one side of the handle (opposite the valve lever). You can even adjust the rear exhaust port to compensate for the way you like to hold the ratchet.
The 1921M2 accepts 3/8" square drive sockets and accessories (sold separately). The 27 Nm (20 lb-ft) maximum torque is just right for up to 5/16" grade 5 bolts. Impact sockets are recommended.
