This pushbutton switch is the same heavy-duty switch used in Longacre Pre-Wired Switch Panels. It is perfect as a starter switch, but it can be used for many other momentary-contact applications up to 15 amps (add a relay for applications with higher current draw). The rubber cover helps to protect the front of the switch from dust and moisture, but the back of the switch should be shielded from the elements.
Mounts in a 5/8" diameter hole. The rubber cover has a 1.1" OD metal ring at the base. Requires 1 3/4" clearance behind the dash panel. Projects 7/8" from the front of the panel. Maximum OD of the body is 1 3/16". Two #8 screw terminals are located on the end of the switch body (ring terminals included for 16-14 AWG wire are included).
